My daughter and I recently visited Budapest for the first time and decided a walking tour in the Jewish Quarters would be a great way to learn about such an important part of the city, its history and culture. Our guide Zoltan was truly amazing. He is a fountain of knowledge and we learnt so much on our tour around the neighbourhood, which would not have been possible if we had explored by ourselves. Not only was the tour informative, Zoltan made it fun too. When the tour ended, he recommended a couple of restaurants where we had some seriously delicious food. I would recommend a walking tour as a perfect way to start your holiday 10/10!

We were in Budapest for 2,5 days and the walking tours were the only way to pack in lots of information and sights in just 2,5 hrs. We lucked out with our guide Zoly because both his deep knowledge of his town’s history and his lovely personality made it a great experience for us. Although we were walking under the hot sun for several hours before the tour, the tour itself was not tiring at all, everyone can keep up with the pace, plus we got some time for some much needed photos! Besides the necessary historical information, we got lots of fun facts you probably won’t get reading a printed guide. Also, he gave us lots of tips and warned us against some common tourist traps. Zoly was also our guide for the Pest tour we did the following day, another great experience! Thank you for making our short stay so great! 🙂
